Jessica Hartman was crowned Miss Intercontinental 2011.

Miss Intercontinental 2011 happened in the city of Orihuela, Spain, and the winner was the representative of the United States, Jessica Hartman, a former Miss Colorado USA and Miss USA 4th runner-up. The 1st runner-up was Spain, Gloria Martinez, and the 2nd runner-up was Jamaica, Amanda Gordon.

Ethiopia and China completed the top 5, while the semi-finalists were the candidates from Bolivia, Cuba, India, Korea, Mauritius, Portugal, Puerto Rico, Russia, South Africa, Spain, Uruguay, and USA.

The pageant was telecast locally and through the internet. The traditional Miss Intercontinental contest, which started out as a Teen competition, exists since 1971, but has not yet reached the “Grand Slam” level. It is, however, considered one of the 15 most important beauty competitions on the globe.

Jessica Hartman was crowned Miss Intercontinental 2011 on October 6, 2011 at the historical Circus Theater in Orihuela, Spain. Jessica is 20 year old and stands 5’10”. She was Miss Colorado USA 2010 and third runner-up at Miss USA 2010.
